Our principal lawyer, Brandon Bullard, is a leading expert on appellate practice and criminal law. Named a Georgia Super Lawyer for 2024, Brandon dedicated his career to representing defendants on appeal. He has successfully overturned convictions of all levels of offense—from loitering to murder.
Brandon also consults with trial lawyers on complex cases to strategize, litigate pre- and post-trial motions, and often, win the case before it ever gets to a jury. And he is a frequent commentator on appellate and criminal issues in the news.
Brandon is licensed to practice in courts nationwide, including the Supreme Court of the United States, every federal court of appeals that hears criminal matters, and the appellate courts of his home state, Georgia. He is a member of the American Bar Association’s Council of Appellate Lawyers, the Clarence Cooper Inn of Court at Emory University, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Federal Bar Association, and he is past chair of the Georgia Bar Association’s Appellate Practice Section.
